Realtors
Realtors and Inspectors are both here to support our clients in their endeavor for a new home.
As realtors, you are guiding your clients through the maze of the real-estate world and we know that aiding them in finding just the right home can be a challenging task. Once a home is found, time can be of the essence when trying to close by a certain date. We strive to get inspections performed as soon as possible once you have contacted us. If for any reason we cannot meet our scheduled time, you will be the first to know why and we will reschedule as soon as possible. Reliability is one of our cornerstones.
At Gear Inspections, we understand that in representing your client in the transaction you need the most credible information supplied to them so they can make well-informed decisions. It is Important that the client is not unduly upset when defects are found. Often there is a simple or affordable solution. We will provide the accuracy and perspective needed at these times.
It is of great importance that when Realtors refer clients to Inspectors, those Inspectors have the qualifications necessary to perform competent inspections. Inspector's reports must reflect only true defects instead of reporting cosmetic issues as significant.
There are many inspectors who do not have training in inspection nor do they have any significant background in construction or the building trades. Taking stock in unqualified inspectors will sooner or later prove to be detrimental. Using qualified, impartial inspectors will go a long way in minimizing liability for all parties.
